Dickinson, ND. – Dickinson State University head volleyball coach Jennifer Hartman has announced two camps for June.
The first camp is June 24-25th, a Young Athletes Skills Camp. The camp has three sessions, with K-2 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at $30. The second session is grades 3-6, running from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at $50 while the final session are grades 7-8 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at $65. The camp is for aspiring volleyball players with the desire to improve their skills. Athletes will receive instruction, competition and an opportunity to have fun playing volleyball.
June 26-28th has a Summer Individual Skills/Team Camp for high school teams. The cost is $50/person which includes camp fee and meals. A team wishing to stay overnight in campus housing will have an added fee of $40 per player. If a person wants to come without a team those arrangements can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
The individual/team camp is set up in a three-day format to provide a competitive environment for high school jv/varsity teams. Day one is individual skills session. During the individual sessions your athletes will receive instruction to improve their skills in their desired areas on the court. Day two includes a morning of individual skills sessions and afternoon of pool-play with your team. The third day consists of seeded-bracket play. Champions will receive a t-shirt.
