DICKINSON, ND- Head Volleyball Coach Jennifer Hartman is excited to announce the signing of Aimee Molina from Albuquerque, NM.

Molina is a libero for the Northwest College Trappers in Powell, WY.  During her time as a Trapper, she was part of back-to-back NJCAA Region IX North Championship teams in 2014 & 2015. Following the Regional Tournament, the Trappers went on to compete at the NJCAA Division 1 National Tournament and ended up placing 4th both times.  This past season, Northwest College was ranked in the 2015 NJCAA National Top 20 Poll on 9 different occasions. Molina ended her Trapper career with a conference win/loss record of 29-3.

Academically, Molina has managed to maintain a 3.5 GPA.  In 2014 she was a part of the NJCAA All-Academic Team (3.35 GPA), and received the AVCA Team Academic Award.  During her free time, Aimee is involved with Student Senate and hosting Student Campus Activities.

"Aimee comes from one of the top Division 1 Junior College programs in the nation.  Coach Pohlman does an excellent job at creating academically and athletically sound athletes.  Aimee is extremely talented in the backrow, and is used to a high level of play.  Molina is a great defensive specialist and has plenty of experience digging hits from All-American teammate Aleksandra Djordjevic. Her experience and leadership will be a great addition to the Blue Hawk’s defense,” said Head Volleyball Coach Jennifer Hartman.

Aimee is currently working towards a degree in Business.  She is the daughter of Maria and Rafael Molina.
