Dickinson, ND- Recently hired head coach, Jennifer Hartman, continues to add to the 2015 roster signing California native Ashley Misinaqase. Ashley is a 5'10" setter/right side hitter from San Leandro High School. For the past two years, Misinaqase has competed for the Central Wyoming College Rustlers. Ashley's former head coach, Tiffany Stauffenberg, is also a Dickinson State alumni, and was apart of the first undefeated Blue Hawk volleyball team.
According to Ashley, she is excited to be playing in a small town like Dickinson. She states "I have heard nothing but great things about the university. It is a great community, and the upcoming volleyball program is something I want to be apart of."
Misinaqase was a standout athlete in both high school and college. In high school, she was named first team all-american her senior year and was nominated team captain in both her 2012 & 2013 seasons. She also led her team in blocks in 2013. Along with being an outstanding athlete, she is also outstanding in the classroom. Ashley was a scholar athlete throughout high school, and was on the Presidential Honor Roll her freshman year of college.
Coach Hartman states "Ashley is a very versatile player who has the ability to fill different rolls for the Blue Hawks this upcoming season. We are excited to have her and we would like to welcome her to the Blue Hawk family."
