Blue Hawk Volleyball Finishes Omaha Trip with Win over Grace

OMAHA, NE- The Dickinson State University Volleyball team defeated Grace University on Saturday in a non-conference match.

The Blue Hawks won the first set 25-16 but lost the second and third sets 26-24 and 25-21. DSU came back to win the fourth set 25-15 and the fifth and final set 15-12.

Dickinson State finished with 68 kills, 67 assists, 88 digs and eighteen team blocks while GRace University finished with 50 kills, 48 assists, 93 digs and eight team blocks.

Ellie Hanser led the Blue Hawks with 18 kills while Shelby Gustafson finished with 14 kills. Keera Stookey recorded 37 assists and Danielle Boyette finished with 28 assists. Syahlee Singleton tallied 24 digs in the win.

The Blue Hawks are now 11-18 overall and 6-8 in NSAA play.

Dickinson State returns home this weekend when they host Valley City State at 7:00 PM (MDT) on Friday followed by Mayville State at 2:00 PM (MDT) on Saturday in the Blue Hawks final regular season matches.
