"Sage is a great athlete and we are excited to capitalize on her athleticism and see how far we can take it," stated head coach Jennifer Hartman. "Furthermore, not only is she a great three-sport athlete but she is also a great student and person. She will be a great fit for our program and we are glad she decided to stay a Hawk."
Additionally, Collins has excelled on the basketball court and track field. Sage was a member of the 2016 Class C Women's Basketball Divisional Champions Team, and is currently in her final months of her basketball career. On the track field, she was awarded with the high honors of Female MVP and placed 2nd in High Jump at the State Track Meet in 2016.
"We are very happy to have Sage be part of the track program. She will have an immediate impact in the jumps, and we are looking forward to her growing as a collegiate athlete." stated head track and field coach Nick Walker.
