Down two sets, a 25-17 third set victory over the University of Jamestown kept Dickinson State alive just a little bit longer Tuesday night. If the Blue Hawks were to win the match, they still had a lot of work ahead of them.
The teams exchanged points throughout the fourth set, and the Blue Hawks (2-8, 0-2 NSAA) went ahead 24-23, just one point away from tying the match at two sets. The Jimmies (8-5, 1-0 NSAA) earned the next two points, though, and eventually the 27-25 win, downing the home team in four close sets at Scott Gymnasium.
Jamestown won the first two sets by margins of 27-25 and 25-21.
