When asked why she chose Dickinson State Alex stated, "I chose DSU because it is a place I can study nursing and play volleyball at the same time. My deciding factor was the first time I visited the campus the people in the town were incredibly nice. It is a good feeling to have so many people behind you, and it is a community I want to be a part of."
