Jordan Wetzel is entering her 2nd season as an asst. volleyball coach under Jen Hartman. Jordan is originally from Stanford, Montana where her family resides on the family ranch.
Jordan was a 4-sport athlete for Stanford High School where she excelled in volleyball, basketball, track and field, as well as rodeo in the fall and spring seasons. She was a 3-time First Team All-Conference volleyball player for the Wolves as well as a 2-time All-State volleyball player. In basketball, she was a 2- time All-Conference Selection as well as a Great Falls Tribune "Athlete of the Week" selection. Jordan's achievements in track and field include two 2nd place finishes in the pole vault at the state championships as well as a 3rd place finish in high jump. She held two conference records for pole vault, one divisional "Northern C" record, and still holds the Stanford High School record at 9'10 inches. Jordan also competed in barrel racing, pole bending, break away roping, and team roping in high school rodeo. She had two top 10 finishes in the state for pole bending her freshman and sophomore seasons qualifying her for Silver State National Rodeo in Nevada.
Jordan decided to pursue her athletic endeavors at Montana State University-Northern where she accepted a volleyball scholarship to play for the Skylights in 2007. While at MSU-Northern, Jordan was a 3-year starter for the Skylights as a setter. Jordan ended her playing career in the fall of 2010. She was a 4-year Academic All-Conference Selection as well as a 3-Year Academic-All American. She was also nominated for the Dak-Stats scholar athlete award. In the fall of 2009, Jordan was awarded the "Champions of Character" award at the conference tournament at the end of season. While the Skylights endured two losing seasons her freshman and sophomore years, they propelled themselves to winning seasons Jordan's junior and senior seasons which was a first for the program since the early 2000's.
After Montana State University-Northern, Jordan pursued her master's in athletic training at Montana State University Billings and graduated with her degree in May of 2013. She is entering her 3rd year as an athletic trainer at Dickinson State University.
Jordan currently resides in Dickinson, ND with her husband Justin Wetzel and their white lab "Remi."
