JAMESTOWN, ND- The Dickinson State University Women's Cross Country team finished 3rd of six teams on Friday at the Jimmie Invitational.
Amanda Wolff led the Blue Hawk runners with a time of 19:04.00 and a fifth place finish.
Dickinson State now runs on October 22nd at the Mount Marty College Invitational before the NSAA Cross Country Meet on November 5th, held in Dickinson, ND at the Heart River Golf Course.
"The women ran very well today," said DSU Head CC Coach Ben Shroyer. "We had two finish in the top 10 and Amanda and Cristina set new PR's by over a minute! Brittney was a mere second off of her collegiate PR. We were missing Jade today due to a lower leg injury and it was great to have Lisa join us in the lineup. Without a full lineup, we still defeated NSAA #2 Jamestown and our total team time was two minutes faster than what we ran here in 2015. We will not race this next week and we look forward to racing in Yankton on Oct. 22 against many ranked NAIA teams."
